Fundraisers
Settings for the Fundraisers section of Donor Portal
Found an error? Missing topic? Difficult to understand? Let us know
The Fundraisers section of the Donor Portal displays any active or paused Fundraisers for that supporter. Each entry shows the name of the Fundraiser, its goal and progress, and the number of days remaining until the supporter’s fundraising goal date. Selecting an entry opens the dashboard for the Fundraiser.
Editing a Fundraiser
Supporters can modify properties related to their fundraiser from the Donor Portal by clicking Edit fundraiser. The available edits include:
- Display name: The name of the fundraiser as shown in various places, including the Checkout modal and Campaign Page.
- Fundraiser photo: The profile image for the Fundraiser, prominently displayed with the Display name and donation goal.
- Fundraiser goal: Supporters can adjust the goal amount, whether increasing it due to surpassed targets or decreasing it for realistic expectations.
- Your message: A 120-character description explaining why the supporter is fundraising, which can be updated anytime.
- End date: The anticipated date for reaching the fundraising goal, adjustable to extend the fundraising period.
Fundraiser Metrics
The dashboard page of a Fundraiser shows key metrics:
- Amount raised
- Number of page views (i.e., people who viewed the fundraiser’s Checkout modal or Campaign Page)
- Number of donations received
Below these metrics, an interactive map displays the origins of donations. A progress bar visually represents the fundraising goal and progress, with donations displayed as segments. Hovering over segments reveals tooltip information about the donations and supporters.
Sharing Tools
Supporters can share their fundraiser link directly or via social media using the dashboard’s sharing tools. A Share via email button allows sending the fundraiser link through a precomposed email. Supporters can also download a QR code image that links to their fundraiser when scanned.
Donations
The Fundraiser’s Donations section presents a table with:
- Supporter name
- Donation amount
- Date of donation
- Geographic location of the supporter
- Comments included with the donation, indicated by a speech bubble icon
The table can be sorted by recent or top donations, with the default sort showing recent donations.
Team Performance
When multiple supporters join a Fundraiser, their profiles appear in the Team performance section, showing:
- Team member name
- Total donations raised, both by amount and count
- Role in the Fundraiser, as set in the dashboard
Team members can be invited to join via a link in the footer of the Team performance section, which opens the Fundraiser onboarding screen.
