Guidelines to activate Givetly on your website using JavaScript code
Activate Givetly on your website by incorporating JavaScript embedding.
Found an error? Missing topic? Difficult to understand? Let us know
The Givetly platform can be activated on your website by adding a specific JavaScript code. The script is essential for features like the Checkout modal and Elements to function.
Givetly recommends placing the code in your organization’s website’s global <head>
section to ensure it’s active across all pages.
Finding Your Installation Code
Your organization’s unique installation code is available in the Installation section of your Givetly Dashboard settings.
Make sure to use only the installation code provided in the Dashboard since it contains unique details about your organization’s Givetly account.
Code Installation Recommendations
Givetly recommends adding the installation code as the last script in the <head>
section of your website.
The installation code loads asynchronously, allowing your website to load other content without any page-load impact from the Givetly script.
Avoid installing Givetly via script managers like Google Tag Manager, as they can interfere with conversion reporting and affect platform performance.
Confirming Installation
To confirm that Givetly has been installed on your website, inspect the source code of a web page where the script is expected. The installation code should appear in the <head>
section of the source code.
