Enabling Comments

Enable the comment option in your donation settings to allow supporters to leave extra notes or feedback. Once activated, a clickable Add comment link will be displayed on the checkout modal or the campaign page. The link, located at the bottom of the checkout form on the first donation screen, opens a text input box when clicked.

Integrating and Exporting Comments

You can export collected comments to CSV files by selecting the Donation Comment field when creating an export template. Additionally, comments are available for integration configurations by choosing Donation and Comment as mapping values from Givetly’s data.
