Givetly provides three link-based elements that can be effortlessly integrated anywhere, guiding your supporters to the Checkout. For specifics on configuring settings for your Elements or adding these to your site, visit the Elements overview page.

For all these Elements, the URL input dictates the destination page of the Checkout modal or Fundraisers form when a visitor interacts with the link.

The Donate Link generates trackable URLs for your chosen campaign, adaptable for use on websites, social media, and even platforms where the Givetly installation code isn’t present, making it ideal for creating referral links to share with potential supporters.

  • If the campaign has only a Campaign Page active, the Donate Link leads directly to that Page.
  • If only a Checkout modal is available, it will display instead.
  • With both available, the Donate Link adapts: on pages with the installation code, it opens the Checkout modal for seamless donation experiences without navigating away. Elsewhere, like direct browser links, emails, or social media, it defaults to the Campaign Page.

QR Code

This Element provides a scannable QR code, guiding users to a donation page for your campaign. Personalize the QR code by embedding an image in the center.

  • If the campaign includes a Campaign Page, scanning the QR code redirects to it. In the absence of a Campaign Page, the Checkout modal will appear.

The Fundraisers Link is a versatile tool available across websites, emails, or other channels, giving visitors an easy path to start a Fundraiser. Clicking this link presents the Fundraisers onboarding screen. Checking the Allow to join teams option adds functionality for users to join existing Fundraisers with this link.
