Donations
Manage and view individual donations using the Dashboard.

Overview
The Donations section lets you see details such as donation date, amount, associated account, supporter’s name, and campaign details.
Filters and Selections
Date Range Selection
By default, all donations from any date are displayed. You can specify a date range using the calendar or choose pre-set options like Yesterday, Last 7 days, or This year.
Account Selection
If subaccounts exist, you can filter donations by the subaccount they belong to.
Campaign Selection
Initially, all campaign donations are visible. Use the Campaign filter to locate donations based on campaign name, code, or ID, including those from archived or disabled campaigns.
Element Selection
Identify donations made through specific Elements, like a Sticky Button on your homepage.
Source Selection
Donations originate from five possible sources. For recurring contributions, the source denotes where the recurring plan was created.

Checkout Modal | Donations processed via any of your campaign’s Checkout modals. |
Virtual Terminal | Donations processed via the Virtual Terminal. |
Donor Portal | Contributions made through a Donor Portal. |
Recurring Migration | Recurring donations migrated to from other systems. Learn more about migrating. |
Donation Statuses
Examine donations by transaction status, which can be one of eight possible statuses.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Succeeded | The donation processed successfully. |
Scheduled | The donation is pledged and will process later. |
Pending | The donation was created and awaits charge attempt. |
Retrying | An issue occurred during the first charge attempt; a retry will be intitiated. |
Refunded | Donation funds returned to supporter, or dispute over donation was lost. |
Failed | Donation failed processing due to unresolved error during the transaction. |
Advanced Filtering
Use the More filters button for additional criteria like supporters, frequency, designation, payment methods, disputes, fraud status, and more.
Disputes & Fraud
The Disputes & fraud filter includes three alert statuses. Donations affected by these are marked in yellow.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Early fraud warning | Received alert from Stripe indicating potential fraud. |
Dispute response needed | A dispute is initiated by the payment provider. Evidence proving legitimate funds are required. |
Dispute under review | The payment provider is currently reviewing the dispute. |
Donations with disputed statuses are highlighted. Further details can be found in Stripe. If the dispute is won, the donation status remains “Succeeded.” If lost, it changes to “Refunded.” Learn more about Stripe disputes.
