Understanding Export Destinations
In this section, we discuss the export destinations available in the dashboard.
Introduction
When you enable the Create files on a schedule feature for your export template, you will have an option to Send files to destinations like email and SFTP.
Note: Before selecting a destination for a scheduled template, ensure you’ve added destinations in the Destinations tab under the Exports section.
Creating a Destination
The Destinations tab presents a table with four properties for each destination you create:
- ID: Unique identifier for the destination.
- Name: Your chosen name for the destination (e.g., “Finance team email”).
- Type: Destination type—Email or SFTP.
- Last time used: When an export template last sent a data file to the destination.
You can adjust settings or delete a destination as needed.
You can set data files to be sent to any valid email address. Configurations include:
- Name: Internal name for the email destination.
- Email: Address to receive data files.
ℹ️ Multiple email addresses can receive data files by creating separate email destinations.
SFTP
Send a data file to a server using SFTP with these options:
- Name: Internal name for the SFTP destination.
- Host: Server’s hostname or IP address.
- Port: Port number to connect, generally port 22 for SFTP.
- Login: Username or email for authentication.
- Password: Password for authentication.
- Path: Directory on your server for data files. Defaults to the root directory if unspecified.
ℹ️ Missing Path value will default uploads to the server’s root directory.
Allow Listing IPs
If behind a firewall, add the following IPs to your allow list for SFTP traffic:
135.148.209.119
142.4.205.190
5.161.21.196
